Designed by Susan T. Rodriguez, the Chipakata Children’s Academy won the Award of Merit for Pro Bono work in the AIA New York State’s forty-seventh
annual Design Awards program. The forty winning projects demonstrate creative skill and use of diverse technologies, adding uniqueness to the built environment.
