On December 8, Stanford ChEM-H and SNI Building reached an important milestone when workers put the building’s highest steel beam in place, an event known as “topping out.”
The building, expected to open mid-2019, houses groundbreaking research in biochemistry and neuroscience in a single building drawing together a wide range of disciplines, including quantitative sciences, chemistry, molecular biology, genetics, psychology, bioengineering and the social sciences.
